Zuwrebb is an indirect Quranic name for boys that means “fierce attacker”. It is the name of one of the Sahaba (companions of the Prophet ﷺ) whose full name is Zuwrebb ibn Naqeer ibn Sumair. Zuwrebb is derived from the DHAD-R-B root (“to strike”) which is used in many places in the Quran.
