Zoreze is an indirect Quranic name for boys and girls, mostly used in Urdu, formed from Arabic Zaw’ (light) and Persian reez (a subject suffix with meanings of “one who pours”, “one who spreads”), with the full meaning of Zoreze being “spreader of light”, “distributor of light”.
