Zabeer is an indirect Quranic name for boys that refers to the mountain on which Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) spoke with God, mentioned in hadith (traditions of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of God upon him). Zabeer is derived from the Z-B-R root which is used in many places in the Quran.
