Rudabeh

Rudabeh is a Persian name for girls. It is the name of the mother of the mythical Persian hero Rustam. The meaning of the name is not known for certain; one source says it may be from the Sanskrit Ruds (“paradise”) and the Persian ab (“to earn”, “to acquire”), creating the meaning of “gift from heaven”, “that which is given from heaven”.
