Ramzia is an indirect Quranic name for girls that comes from Ramz, which is “sign”, “symbol”, “gesture”, “code”, and it has meanings of “reserved”, “demure”, “quiet”. It is derived from the R-M-Z root which is used in the Quran in verse 3:41:
