Ciraj is a direct Quranic name for boys and girls that means “lamp”, “light”, “cresset”, any device the produces light. The Quran uses the word Ciraj to describe Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and also uses it to refer to the sun. Ciraj is used four times in the Quran.
