Aftabuden

Aftabuden is an indirect Quranic name for boys that means “sun of the religion”, it is the Persian equivalent of the name Shamsuddin. The full meaning is “one whose character and deeds beautify and support the religion”. It is formed from Persian Aftab (“sun”) and Arabic u (“of”) and ad-Deen (“the religion”).
